Shopping = Love

There really isn't any problem or depression that can't be cured by shopping . Seriously . A new bag or pair of shoes is my chicken noodle soup to my ailments LOL . So , my trip to the Toronto Eaton Centre was supposed to be a trip where the most I'd spend was on food...

And then it called out to me . The COACH store looked so inviting I couldn't resist , so being any normal shopaholic teenager with a passion for new wristlets , I went in to go look at the new prints (although I'd already seen all the new 2009 styles online). I saw it after about 5 minutes of browsing and the price on it wasn't really that bad either but still out of my $20 budget for the day.

I left the store to think on it and really mull it over before making a decision like I always do with almost every purchase. After eating , I couldn't deny it anymore. The image of the wristlet wouldn't leave my thoughts . BOO HOO - I know . So inevitably , I went back in , picked it up and bought it . I don't regret it but damn , the mind war with myself was tiring . All in all , it was a lovely day with the girlies :) ... their boyfriends showed up halfway through , and I started to miss the love of my life but its okay ! I get to see him all weekend and its going to be a long one! WOO ! Is life good or what ? :D

Speaking of boyfriends and shopping - my girlfriend asked me why I didn't just ask my boyfriend to buy the wristlet for me if I was so worried over the price . Really , I had never thought of asking him . Maybe because there just isn't the same satisfaction of shopping for my own stuff ? Don't get me wrong , I love my boyfriend , and I love receiving gifts from him and him buying stuff for me :D - I mean , what kind of normal-fashion-loving girlfriend doesn't like their boyfriend shopping for them ? But I guess if I had really not been able to afford it , I would have asked but the reality is that I can, but not with my own money . It's my parents' money afterall . I guess when I feel like its something I really want with absolute certainty I would ask the boyfriend but right now , the wristlet was a satisfying purchase (despite my parents not knowing LOL) :) and I'm glad I bought it now althought I could have waited 'til later, haha..I think.

Anyways , if really wanted a new handbag soon, I'd ask for the LV Totally Damier Azur PM ;) Haha , goodnight !

115 yards w/ 9-iron!

I think I'm making some progress with this golfing thing! 115 yards was my farthest hit today, unfortunately I didn't get a shot of it (darnit). Now I need to learn how to aim for a specific direction. :) Anyways, I think that if I really get the hang of this, I may end up buying a set of women's golf clubs. The mens golf clubs that I've been using which belong to my dad are ridiculously heavy. Ugh, when I borrowed a women's club it was 10 times lighter - definitely much easier to handle and swing with. Anyways, who knows? I hope I continue to like this 'cause the thought of playing through 6 hours of 18 holes doesn't sound too appealing to me.

New movie coming out 2010:
Besides the golf lesson , I'm getting super excited (8 months ahead) for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland coming out on March 5th 2010! The released pictures look amazing and I'm looking forward to Burton's surreal look on the story. Supposedly, it's supposed to be a sequel to the first visit that Alice makes to Wonderland as a kid, and now she's a teenager (17 years old I think?). Overall, the point is - I'm excited for it. Maybe I'm hyping myself up too much about it, but I hope it doesn't disappoint! Remember , March 5 2010 !

Summer shopping list:
Of course , my inner shopaholic is starting to get antsy as September closes in on me! (eek, university!) So I've started to make a list of things I need & want to get before or as September rolls in. :)
  • Laptop
  • Glasses (new frames)
  • Shoes
  • Clothes (oh it never ends)
  • Textbooks (need to find that out during the 1st week)
  • Haircut
  • Metropass/GO pass
The list will be added on to later.. for not that's all I've got. Mmmkay I'm getting sleepy D: - until next time!

Awesome Origami

Ugh. Talk about talent, ingenuity and amazing creativity.. I'm jealous! There, I said it. Just recently saw on David Choi's blog (http://davidchoimusic.com/origami-genius/) a post about this guy named Brian who makes original origami art. Seriously, it's amazing. You have to check it out! Apparently, he's the brother of Wesley Chan from WongFuProductions. Anyways, he's a graduate of MIT and can be hired for his origami artwork ! :) Here's some samples! You can visit his website here: http://chosetec.darkclan.net/origami/

It's hot outside & I'm wearing a sweater...

There must be something wrong with me.. It's 26 degrees celsius and I have a sweater on, the window open and my fan on. Ridiculous. Anyways, I really am bored out of my mind, I think there's a thunderstorm coming tomorrow even though I have a golf lesson scheduled.

So I plan to see some new movies in the next few weeks, hopefully go buy them as bootlegs with the boyfriend this weekend or next or whenever.
Here's the list:
  • The Ugly Truth
  • Ice Age 3
  • Funny People
  • G-Force
I'm not sure about Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince anymore because I haven't heard any good feedback about it but if it happens to be out .. then maybe? Ah well.

Why Noodle.Kitty?

Well , the title is pretty self explanatory. Why the blog name Noodle.Kitty ? To be honest, I was inspired by RiceBunny aka Michelle Phan on Youtube. (Check out her awesome videos for cool make up tips and more! http://www.youtube.com/user/MichellePhan) Anyways, back to the reason behind the name - Other than Michelle Phan's cute username, I wanted to make a username that wasn't as boring and non-creative like my past usernames. So the noodle part is well, basically because I love to eat noodles. :D The kitty part is because I think kittens and cats are adorable as well as the fact that I have a cat of my own.

Anyways, now that I've finally settled on a layout. I think that's all I've got for now. 'Til next time! :)

The beginning of blogging?

Hmmm , so here's the start of a new page in my life. Blogging ? Maybe . Let's see how far I can take this and hopefully I can keep my interest fresh with ideas and stories to tell . Not much to tell today , I didn't do much at all . -Sigh- That's to be expected of a jobless summer holiday I guess. :( The most that's happening is chores, laundry, lawn-mowing and some cleaning that's being delayed haha. Oh well ! Trying to schedule another golf lesson but with all this rain happening , I don't think I can schedule one tomorrow. :(

Something to look forward to: Cottage day on Aug 15 ;). That should be a fun-filled event! I'm definitely stoked. Hopefully I'm able to accomodate the number of people coming but I guess I'll just have to wait and see!
Now its time to go look for a new blog layout. Toodles!
